2nd Airdrie BB
CAPTAINS & CHAPLAINS
Our Captains and Chaplains
17th November 1921
Many things happened in November 1921. Rudolph Valentino released “Sheik”, his 5th silent movie of the year; the US, France, Japan and the British Empire signed the Pacific Treaty and, on the 17th November 1921, the 2nd Airdrie company of the Boys Brigade was founded with Mr. Foster as our founding Captain and Revd. J.F. Marshall as our founding Chaplain.
Since then, many great friends have presided over the 2nd Airdrie as our Captain and Chaplain. Their influence is imprinted in the Company we are today. We recognise their contribution in the timeline below.
